Overview:

As the Head Stylist, you will lead a dynamic team of onsite stylists to elevate the visual presentation of properties and create captivating spaces that resonate with potential buyers. Your role will encompass strategic planning, coordination, and hands-on support to ensure the seamless execution of staging projects. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for interior design and a talent for inspiring and guiding others.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of onsite stylists, providing guidance, feedback and support to ensure the successful execution of staging projects.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules, and workload distribution to optimise team productivity and project efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team members’ skills and capabilities.

 

Staging Operations:

  • Obtain and review quotes, styling briefs, floor plans, and photos of properties scheduled for staging.
  • Select and procure large furniture pieces in accordance with design specifications and client preferences.
  • Oversee the setup and arrangement of furniture and decor items onsite, ensuring adherence to design standards and project timelines.

 

Logistics and Coordination:

  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling for staging projects, including furniture delivery, setup, and return to sites.
  • Communicate effectively with stylists, warehouse team, and other external suppliers to ensure seamless coordination and execution of staging jobs.
  • Monitor inventory levels of staging furniture and decor items, coordinating repairs, replacements, and additions as needed.

 

Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction:

  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure the visual presentation of staged properties meets or exceeds company standards and client expectations.
  • Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by vendors or team members, implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, Visual Merchandising, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in interior design, home staging, or a related role, with a strong portfolio showcasing design expertise.
  • Proficiency in space planning and furniture layout
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, with a passion for creating visually stunning spaces.
  • Knowledge of furniture styles, trends, and suppliers in the home furnishings industry.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for staging projects.

In this exciting opportunity, you’ll blend your passion for interior design with your knack for sales to drive business growth and exceed client expectations. As a Senior Stylist/Account Manager with a sales focus, you’ll play a pivotal role in showcasing our staging solutions to potential clients, persuading them of the value we bring, and ultimately closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Styling Consultations: Meet with clients on-site to understand their needs, preferences, and provide expert styling advice and recommendations.
  • Staging Execution: Select required furniture, artwork, and accessories to enhance the visual appeal of properties, ensuring each space is presented with the right look and feel.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the staging process, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about current design trends and industry best practices, continually refining your skills and techniques to deliver outstanding results.
  • KPIs: Monitor and track progress towards key performance indicators (KPIs) such as financial performance targets and return to site targets.
  • Quoting: Develop accurate and competitive quotes for staging services, considering client preferences, project scope, resource requirements, and market conditions

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in property styling or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • A passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Furniture Removalist /Delivery Offsider

Novari Collective is Sydney and Melbourne’s leading home styling company that helps to prepare properties for sale. This job is responsible for the delivery and collection of furniture to and from customer homes.

About the opportunity:

This is a hands on job (some heavy lifting is involved), requiring energy and team work.  The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and responsibilities include:

  • Loading & unloading delivery vehicles at the warehouse and ensuring furniture, accessories & décor are on shelf and correctly positioned at all times.
  • Delivery and furniture installation to and from properties and in between properties.

About You:

As a proud representative of our business you will use excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers as part of our commitment to quality service.  You can cope with the physical demands of the job and have a strong commitment to safety.

Success factors:

  • Sound knowledge of Sydney area.
  • Manual driver’s license desired.
  • Available Monday – Friday for 7.00 am starts.
  • Experience in furniture removal or delivery is preferred.
